The BBC's all-female lineup (actors + screenwriters), 8 episodes of 15-minute monologues "The Bits: A Century of Women's Life Moments" (tentative translation) will be broadcast from June 18 to 21, UK time, with two episodes a day.

The series will mark the anniversary of women's suffrage as the centrepiece of the BBC's 'Hear Her' this summer. Monologues are inspired by women who speak out publicly, challenge the status quo or rebel, often at great personal cost.
